It was great to celebrate commencement of shipments of the version 3.2 Felixer feral animal grooming trap to our client Thylation. The Felixer has revolutionised the control of feral cats and foxes in endangered animal conservation programs. Applidyne have now further developed the sensing system with the incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) species recognition to improve targeting accuracy.

 It has been a massive effort by the Applidyne development team who conquered this edge-AI challenge, meeting the tough speed requirement (cats don’t hang around) with low power (24/7 operation on battery and small solar panel). Very proud of what our engineers have achieved! Thylation kept the faith through our trials and tribulations and provided great assistance with trials, great team effort!
