“I’m an engineering student majoring in Mechatronics at the University of Wollongong, who has a strong passion for robotics and design-based projects. Throughout the course of my degree, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a range of hardware-software and mechanical projects, including developing a Pool Training Tracker, where my team recorded and tracked swimmer movements, as well as designing an industrial drill press and a wind turbine elevator system. In 2022, I participated in the university’s Warman Design & Build Competition, which further deepened my interest in mechanical design.” – Osman Hassan
