After we completed a design upgrade on our client’s https://thylation.com Felixer product (incorporating GPS and a new user interface) we’ve been manufacturing small production runs in house. This isn’t something we normally do, but for a low-volume complex product it was the best way to go – and it gave our engineers some very direct feedback on design for manufacture!

The Felixer is used to kill feral cats and is commonly used to protect remnant populations of endangered species. See it in action here https://lnkd.in/gazxSxx. The Felixer kills cats by spraying them with a toxic gel which they then ingest whilst grooming. Only cats are targeted; a laser-based vision system identifies valid targets.
